Call for abstracts to the IUFRO 125th Anniversary Congress

14 November, 2016 The call for abstracts to the IUFRO 125th Anniversary Congress in Freiburg Germany, 19-22 September, 2017 is now open at http://iufro2017.com/call-for-abstracts

The DIABOLO project and the ENFIN network have a joint session: “Forest information for bioeconomy outlooks – a joint session of the European National Forest Inventory Network (ENFIN) and the Horizon 2020 project DIABOLO”. Deadline for abstract submission via the electronic system available at http://iufro2017.com/call-for-abstracts/ is 30 November 2016.

DIABOLO workshop

19–20 September, 2016 – DIABOLO workshop “Policy needs for and provision of forest information for policy making and practice in Europe: state of the art and the way forward”, to be held in Vienna at the Austrian Research Centre for Forests (BFW). Participation to the workshop is by invitation only. Invitation has been sent to a core group of DIABOLO research partners and a range of European and national policymakers and stakeholders. The workshop will bring together providers and users of NFI information at European and national level. The event is jointly organised by ALU-FR, SLU and BFW.
